Change the Newsfeed administrator

By default, the Idera Newsfeed does not have an administrator. Consider choosing the same person who is responsible for administrating your SQLdm installation(s).

The Newsfeed administrator should be someone who your team can contact when issues occur within the Newsfeed deployment, such as the SQLdm Mobile & Newsfeed Service losing ability to connect to the SQLdm Mobile Repository database. When you specify the Newsfeed administrator, you can set his or her name, email, work phone, or mobile phone.

To identify a Newsfeed administrator:

1. Start the Idera Newsfeed Platform Manager console.
2. Click the Administrator tab.
3. Specify the appropriate settings.
4. Click Save.
